Support Rick's Fight Against Leg Amputation

Donation protected
Rick is my son, he just turned 53. Throughout his life he has had many challenges, from special education to many difficulties with his feet and legs. He has had numerous surgeries, more than I can count. At the age of 22 we went to Mayo Clinic where he diagnosed with to have Charcot-Marie-Tooth disorder. He has been hospitalized several times with infections, some life threatening. He eventually had one foot partially amputated. Now he is possibly facing amputation of his leg below the knee if the surgery he’s getting to save his leg isn’t successful. He always wants to work and has been working for Dick Anderson in Stillwater for almost 20 years between his down time because of the disease. Without his job with the Andersons he won’t be able to meet his bills, even with his SSI. He’s very proud to work and wants to continue when he gets well. He’s been a trouper all his life and my hero.
Surgery today June 17. Hoping for the best
Rick is in Greeley estates in Stillwater. He is in rehab. So far he still has a half a foot. They found an infection that they didn’t expect. He has a tube in his half of foot to vacuum that bad Stuff out. We will see.
