Support Rick's Battle Against Pancreatic Cancer

Hello, my name is Melissa and I am fundraising for my husbands medical expenses.

As many of you all know Rick was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer back in March of 2024. These past few weeks have been a roller coaster of emotions, fear, stress and anxiety.

Rick is no longer able to work and has been out of work since being diagnosed.

He did qualify for SSDI but there is a five month waiting period before you start receiving. With the medical bills quickly adding up, the numerous trips to the hospital and parking it is putting a financial strain on the household.

Rick has always been the kind of friend that would go out of his way and do anything for someone that he loves.

His condition is rapidly deteriorating, he has developed ascites and also had to have a stent placed in his bile duct. He was unable to receive his last two rounds of chemo due to elevated bilirubin levels.

As many of you also know we are planning a benefit for Rick on August 10th. His greatest fear is that he won’t be there to see how many people support and care about him.

So let’s show him some support and love that he has always shown everyone. Anything you are able to donate is truly appreciated and if you are unable to donate please share this with your family friends. Every little bit helps.
