Support Rick's Battle Against Leukemia

Rick was rushed to the ER at Samaritan Hospital on Easter Sunday 2024 and was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He was sent to Albany Med to undergo Chemotherapy treatment for 31 days. Treatment is going well, but unfortunately not over. He is currently in and out of the hospital continuing treatment which involves at least three more rounds of week- long chemotherapy infusions, and will not be able to return to work for an indefinite amount of time.

Rick is responding well to treatment, but complications from the disease still remain. Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is limiting Rick's mobility and breathing, which may have an impact on his ability to return to work in the future.
