Rickey is a self-employed provider who has always worked hard to take care of his family, but he now faces an immense health challenge. Despite being in good health otherwise, this year has been full of unexpected and life-altering challenges with Rickey spending several weeks in the hospital and now has a diagnosis of hypertension-related kidney issues. End-stage renal disease will lead to overwhelming costs between hospital stays, dialysis treatments, medications, and a possible kidney transplant.

Rickey’s life has been a testament to resilience and love. He is not only a father but also a grandfather, son, brother to three, uncle to many, and a faithful member of his church. His faith and compassion have touched the lives of countless people around him.
