Hi, my name is Nicole and I’m Rick White’s daughter.
Anyone who knows my dad (Rick)- knows that he is a very private person and does not like to ask for help, but I am here, asking for help for our family.
Last night (8/9/2025) felt like a nightmare. I was sitting at home when my phone rang and I saw it was my mom. I answered, and her voice was shaky. She told me that my dad (Rick White) had been in a motorcycle accident. My heart sank! I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I began to think about all the times we spent together, and I just wanted to be by his side. Everything felt confusing and scary. The accident was unexpected, but could have been prevented! What happened to be a nice sunny day turned quickly into a frightening night/experience! I felt a mix of worry and fear while waiting for the news!
Dad loves motorcycles, and sharing stories about his ride, and what he loves in general, and yesterday he decided to take a ride to enjoy the weather. While riding, a car, a young couple, 18 years old suddenly came out of nowhere going really fast, running a red light, and hit him. The couple threw their hands up, and kept driving like it was my dad’s fault, but then eventually stopped about 2 blocks down. People/witnesses nearby quickly called for help- Law Enforcement, and EMT arrived soon after. Dad was taken to the hospital with injuries. Everyone again was very worried and sad, but grateful he is alive!
The doctors told us he has several injuries, some including a fractured sternum, road rash, a broken toe, and a dislocated shoulder/separated clavicle bone. He has a long road ahead of him to recovery, and he will need to take it easy for 1-2 months if not longer, but he will be OK and he’s HERE! We are all SO thankful that the accident wasn’t worse. I feel as if someone was watching over him and protecting him during the crash!
If anyone knows my dad, they know how caring he is! He always helps others and puts others needs in front of his own. Whether it’s fixing a neighbor’s car or listening to someone in need, he is always ready to lend a hand. His kindness has touched many lives, and he has always been there for us and others. Now, it’s our time to support him. He needs us more than ever, and it is important for us to show him the same love and care that he gives to everyone! By coming together and doing this, we can remind him that he’s not alone. PLEASE family, and friends- join me in showing him how much he means to us during this difficult time. Let’s make a difference in his life, just like he has made a difference in ours.
We understand that times are tough, and some people need extra help. Alongside this GoFundMe page we will be organizing a benefit event. The goal is to get donations, and raise even more funds to cover lost wages, medical costs, and anything else that may arise. More details will come soon, and we hope to see many of you at the event to help us raise awareness!
PLEASE share this page and all details to come! Sharing helps spread important information to more people, which can make a big difference! When you share, you are helping friends and family stay informed about things that matter!
AND BE SAFE ON THE ROAD! WATCH FOR MOTORCYCLE’S/ALL PEOPLE!
Venmo, Cash, Cash App, Facebook pay, and other donations will be accepted. Small or large amounts help! Even a share, a meal, or some company when he’s feeling up to it.
Thank you ❤️
