Support Rick McDaniel's Emergency Heart Surgery

My name is Brenda Sorensen, and I am reaching out with an urgent plea for help for my brother-in-law Rick McDaniel. Rick is a beloved husband to my sister, Lynn, cherished father, loving brother and a dear friend to many.

On Monday, January 20th, Rick suffered a serious seizure that led to the discovery of congestive heart failure. He was taken by ambulance to Kingman Regional Hospital where he went through extensive tests.

Wednesday morning, after an angiogram, Rick’s condition took a turn for the worse, and he was emergency airlifted to Prescott for open heart surgery. His situation is incredibly serious, and the outcome is uncertain.

This sudden medical crisis has placed a tremendous emotional and financial burden on Rick and his family. It is uncertain at this time if Rick will be able to return to his job. Rick and Lynn are facing mounting and expensive medical expenses. Rick and Lynn are always giving and helping others and find it hard to ask of anything from anyone.

We are asking for your compassion and support during this incredibly difficult time. Your generous donations will help cover:

*Medical expenses- Hospital bills, specialist

fees, surgery, and medications.

*Air ambulance costs - The emergency flight

to Prescott was necessary but comes with a

significant expense.

*Travel and accommodation - Lynn will need

to stay near the hospital in Prescott, incurring

travel, food, and lodging costs.

*Ongoing care - Rick faces a long road to

recovery, and may require rehabilitation,

home healthcare, and other support services.
