Hi, my name is Cassie and I’m the daughter of Rick Lee. I am raising money to help my family with expenses while my father is in the hospital. He has been having some health issues, one of them being breathing. Unfortunately, he has been admitted to the hospital and will not be able to work for a while as they have determined he has throat cancer. He has always been the main breadwinner for my family, while my mom has stayed home to take care of my brother who has cerebral palsy. They also adopted my cousin after my aunt passed away, so he is in their care as well. I am just trying to help raise money so that they don’t have to worry about expenses and bills while my father works on getting better. Anything helps, thank you!

update he has now had a biopsy and had to have a trachea for breathing. The surgeon said his voice box is completely ate up with cancer and the tumor is wrapped around his esophagus. Soon they will be doing surgery to remove his voice box and tumor and will be reconstructing his throat using a muscle from his arm. They said he will have to have the hole in his throat for the rest of his life for breathing and will never speak without assistance or learning to talk again without a voice box. We have a long recovery process ahead of us!
