This past Monday, June 30th, Rick suffered from an ischemic stroke. He initially was treated at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital, but soon transferred to UHC for further care with a neurologist. The doctors say that he’ll make a full recovery, which we are so thankful for. But, he will require aggressive speech therapy for the ongoing future.

Rick is recently retired, just over 1 month ago, and now has his health and being “Pappy” to 5 grandbabies to focus on. We’d like to give him the chance to do so without the stress of medical costs.
