Help Us Fight for Rick Hamill

In July, our world changed. My partner, Rick Hamill, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer—words we never imagined hearing and ones that have reshaped every part of our lives since.

If you know Rick, you know he brings light everywhere he goes. He’s the funniest person I’ve ever met—someone who can turn even the hardest moments into something a little more bearable with a joke or a perfectly timed one-liner. He’s also a passionate photographer, someone who sees beauty in places the rest of us overlook. Through his lens, he’s captured moments of joy, love, and life for so many people. It breaks my heart to see someone who brings so much laughter and beauty to the world now fighting a battle this heavy.

Since early August, Rick hasn’t been able to work. The treatments and symptoms have made it impossible, and while we’ve tried our best to stay afloat, we’re now falling behind on medical bills, our mortgage, and basic utilities. I’m doing everything I can to keep us going, but with only one income and rising expenses, we’re at a point where we need help.

Asking for support is incredibly difficult for us. But right now, it would make an enormous difference. Every donation—no matter the size—goes directly toward keeping our home stable, covering medical costs, and making sure Rick can focus on treatment and healing without the crushing weight of financial stress.
