Support Rick DeBolt's Recovery Journey
Donation protected
The North Bay Haven Cheer and Football Booster Parents would like to support a local referee in his journey to recovery. Last Friday night, November 1, Rick DeBolt was a referee at our local football game. Unfortunately a fluke play changed the course of the night and his life. A hit out bounds caused his head to snap back and caused a spinal cord injury. He had surgery and is not able to walk at this time. Thankfully he has been accepted to Shepherd Center in Atlanta. We are asking for donations to assist in his medical bills and everyday expenditures while he and his wife, Cindy, are unable to work.
Rick has been involved in sports umpiring flag football, middle school football and most recently high school football. He is also an umpire for Travel Ball USA baseball. Rick has a love for sports that is undeniable. Rick and Cindy are parents of a former Mosley football player, Colby, who is their only child. Colby is a freshman in Commercial Aviation at the University of North Dakota.
We thank you for your donations as we help Rick get back on his feet!
