Support Rick Barnes' Road to Recovery

Hi everyone, I am posting this on behalf of, and with permission from, the Barnes family.

As you may or may not know, this past week Rick suffered a medical emergency while officiating. He was experiencing stroke-like symptoms, and after the immediate action of the folks around him, he was transported to the hospital, where they diagnosed him with a dissecting aorta. He underwent an emergency surgery that lasted six hours. Rick has been recovering in the ICU and showing huge improvements—Tricia calls him a superhero!

While he is making amazing strides, he is not out of the woods yet. Rick (and his family) have a long road ahead, as he will need to continue to stay at the hospital until he’s strong enough to come home and then will need at least another month of heart and cardiac rehab.

In addition to the thoughts and prayers that we have all sent their way, I would love if we could help them out with some of the expenses that will come from their medical bills and loss of wages for rent.

For anyone who knows Tricia & Rick, and their family, you know they are the first ones to step up and help others in their time of need. It’s time for us to give it back to them.❤️
