Support Rick Barker's Battle Against Cancer

Hello everyone,

My name is Kait Bradley, and I am helping launch this campaign to help support Rick Barker’s strenuous fight against colorectal cancer.

Some of you may or may not know, but Rick was diagnosed with incurable Stage IV colorectal cancer with metastasis to the liver in March 2024. Despite his incredible strength and positive spirit, the journey has been incredibly tough. Rick is currently undergoing extensive chemotherapy, which is not only physically and emotionally draining but also financially overwhelming. Due to the physical demands on his body, Rick is currently unable to continue working. (And anyone who knows Rick knows how driven and hardworking he is.)

The cost of testing, medical therapy, medications, and travel for treatments has placed a significant burden on Rick and his family. We are seeking your generous support to help alleviate some of these financial pressures so that Rick can focus on his recovery without the constant worry of mounting bills. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a tremendous impact.

Your contribution will go directly towards:

-Covering medical bills and treatment costs

-Purchasing necessary medications

-Supporting travel expenses for out-of-town treatments

-Providing day-to-day living expenses during this challenging time

UPDATE 7/31/24:

Rick’s latest scans are showing he is responding to his treatment! The lesions in his colon and liver are decreasing in size. He will continue to have treatments over the next few months before more scans are completed. Rick still has a battle ahead of him, but your contributions have not gone unseen!
