Hello everyone! It is with a heavy heart that I write this knowing an 11 year old boy has lost his best friend, his dad.

My nephew, Peyton, had to say goodbye to his dad, Rick Bailey, yesterday. For the past 12 years, I got to witness first hand the love Rick gave to his children. Making sure they never wanted for anything and that they knew how loved they were. He loved teaching and coaching. Every school he went to, he quickly made connections with students and co-workers.

His passing comes just 2 years and 4 months after losing his 10 year old daughter, Abby. In a way we are comforted in knowing Abby now has her best friend to spend eternity with.

As most may know, teaching is not a lucrative profession so we are seeking donations to cover the cost of a proper funeral and pay off any medical expenses Rick has left behind. Please help us ease the financial burden of this loss so that Rick’s children, grandchildren and friends have the opportunity of a proper goodbye.
