Support The Klingbile's in Declan's Memory

My name is Katie Kane, and I am the HR Director at Western Racquet & Fitness Club. It is with deep sadness that we share the tragic news about Rick Klingbile, one of our cherished tennis pros, and his son, Declan.

For 12 years, Declan has bravely battled a rare genetic disorder. Unfortunately, following a choking incident at school, he went without oxygen for too long. The doctors at St. Vincent's ICU have informed Rick and his wife, Sarah, that all measures to help Declan have been exhausted. They are now facing the heartbreaking task of preparing Declan’s organs to help save the lives of others.

Declan was a bright light in our community, known for his vibrant love of life, his fondness for Peppa Pig, and his passion for exploring space with his dad. He was thriving this year at Lombardi Middle School and touched the hearts of many.

As his co-workers, we were honored to visit Declan last week and witness the incredible love and support from family and friends. Many have expressed a desire to help Rick and his family during this incredibly difficult time. We have set up this GoFundMe page to assist them as they navigate this challenging journey.

The funds raised will help cover medical bills, funeral costs, and other unforeseen expenses. Every dollar donated will go directly toward supporting Rick, Sarah, and their family, allowing them to focus on being together and honoring Declan’s memory without the added stress of financial burdens.
