Rick and Connie Delk are the true definition of lifelong love and commitment. High school sweethearts that will be celebrating 50 years of marriage this July—a milestone built on hard work, dedication, and an unwavering devotion to their family.
Since their teenage years, both Rick and Connie have worked full-time, creating a beautiful life and raising a loving family. They have always been the ones others could count on—never hesitating to lend a hand, offer support, or show kindness to those around them.
On March 14th, their world was suddenly turned upside down.
Rick began experiencing abdominal pain and extreme fatigue—symptoms that Connie quickly knew were not right. What started as concern quickly became a whirlwind of hospital admittance, tests, and uncertainty. In a matter of days, their lives shifted from normal routines to navigating a frightening and unexpected medical journey.
Rick has since been diagnosed with progressive acute liver failure with severe hyperbilirubinemia.
Despite the uncertainty ahead, Rick and Connie continue to face this challenge the same way they’ve faced life together—with strength, faith, and unwavering love for one another.
As Rick undergoes testing, treatment, and care, the emotional toll is heavy—but so is the financial strain. Medical bills, potential treatments, and travel expenses are quickly adding up and more ahead with the transplant probability.
We are asking for your help to support Rick and Connie during this incredibly difficult time.
Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward easing the burden of medical expenses and allowing them to focus on what matters most—Rick’s health and their time together as a family.
If you are unable to give, we ask that you please share this fundraiser and keep Rick and Connie in your thoughts and prayers.
