As many of you know, Richie suffered a medical emergency on August 26th. He was placed on ECMO, a supportive machine that does the functions of the heart and lungs so the body can rest, and intubated to support his breathing. Richie is in the Cardiac ICU at Mass General Hospital. He has been making great progress but is still in critical condition.

Richie was taken off the ECMO on Thursday, August 29th, started on dialysis to support his kidneys, and we are hoping he will be extubated soon. We are raising funds to support Richie and his partner Tynan, along with family, as we anticipate a long road to recovery, medical and travel expenses, and other resources to help Richie along the way. Richie is surrounded by so much love and support (and music and Lego) which has been vital to his recovery.
