Richard (Richie) is known throughout our local softball leagues as the world’s best umpire and a true friend to so many. His dedication, fairness, and good humor have made every game better, and he’s always been there to support our community—on and off the field. As a friend, I’ve seen firsthand how much Richie means to all of us, and how he brings people together in both good times and tough moments.

Recently, Richie faced a serious medical event that landed him in the hospital. This has been an incredibly stressful time for him and his loved ones, not only because of the health challenges but also due to the sudden loss of income while he recovers. The uncertainty and financial strain have added to the emotional toll, making it even harder for Richie and his family to focus on what matters most: healing and being together.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly to Richie and his family, helping them cover medical expenses and daily living costs. Your support will allow them to focus on recovery without the overwhelming burden of missed work and mounting bills.
