Hi, I’m Richelle

And music has been in my bones since I was a little girl in choir, holding notes and dreaming big.

From the moment I stepped into my first vocal lesson, to performing live at art shows and museums thanks to my incredible vocal coach, music has been the light that’s guided me—through moves, milestones, motherhood, and even quiet seasons when I thought maybe I’d missed my chance.

But I always come back to the music.

Because I know this is part of what I’m meant to do.

A little backstory…

When I was 16, I visited Nashville and got to see the magic behind the scenes—recording studios, industry mentors, and even a masterclass with vocal coach-to-the-stars Renee Grant Williams. I told myself, “One day, I’ll be back.”

And I kept chasing that dream.

In 2013, I was blessed with the opportunity to record a full album. I said yes without hesitation—and poured my heart into every lyric. That experience gave me a glimpse into what it feels like to bring a vision to life, and it only deepened my love for storytelling through music.

Around 25, I packed up my camper, saved $5,000, and moved to Nashville to chase the music full-time. I worked with a coach who took me to sing at nursing homes, made friends with incredible musicians, and poured my heart into the city.

Then COVID hit.

Everything changed overnight—venues closed, sessions stopped, and the momentum I had started to build was paused. During that time, I made a different kind of leap—I started my IVF journey, and now I have a beautiful 3-year-old son who’s my biggest inspiration.

Music took a back seat for a while, but it never left. I kept writing. I picked up my guitar again. And thanks to an old friend, I discovered an AI music app that helped me bring full songs to life—even though I’m still learning to play instruments myself.

Now, I’m ready to return to Nashville with purpose.

Next month, I’m planning to go back and record three to four original songs that I’ve written. I’ve grown so much as a songwriter and artist, and this time, I want to capture my truth—the heartbreak, the healing, the faith, the fire.

I just need a little help getting there!
