You’ve been touched by Richelle’s work if you’ve ever loved the artful expression of the Wayfinding brand, been moved by a Power Assessment readout, or received one of our kind, clear onboarding nudges. She’s not only one of the most skilled systems and visual designers I’ve ever known — she’s also one of the deepest practitioners of Power Literacy on the planet. Her presence has quietly shaped so much of what you've seen and felt in the Wayfinding field since 2020, and she is truly soul family to me.
Earlier this month, a devastating fire tore through her family’s apartment compound in Quezon City, Philippines, damaging their home, destroying their car, and taking all of their belongings except what could be grabbed during evacuation. Much did not survive, including her work devices. According to the internet, the fire affected 200 families. Richelle had just come out of surgery — and in the chaos of evacuating, her wound reopened, requiring hospitalization. Her two young daughters, Reign and Margaux stayed with her in the hospital.
She and her whole family are alive, safe, and temporarily staying with friends, but they’ve lost so much and are starting over. Richelle needs more time off to heal, and they need funds to recover and rebuild.
If you’ve been impacted by Wayfinding’s work, I hope you’ll join me in supporting the woman whose quiet brilliance and heart have shaped so much of it in these past 5 years.
Even $5 or $20 would mean the world for the woman who illuminated that aliveness "tastes like mangoes." ✨
Let’s help bring ease, safety, and restoration to Richelle and her family.
With deep love and gratitude,
Larissa
