Support Richards recovery from farming accident

Hello, I’m Kree Dorner (Kobetsky), Richard’s youngest daughter. I’m creating this on behalf of our family as so many family and friends have reached out to us in regards of support. We appreciate the prayers of healing the most, but if you wish to donate, all funds will be going towards all the expenses that lie ahead.

On February 12th, Richard was in a farming accident, nearly losing his life. He’s banged up pretty bad with the majority of the damage to his legs. He’s had 3 surgeries so far this first week and will have several more to come, including skin grafting. As of right now the doctors think he’ll be in the hospital from 2-4 weeks, then several visits and serious PT following.

Our mom will not be returning to work so she can focus on the care of dad at home when he is released from the hospital - for now she is by his bedside daily keeping him company.

At this time, dad has requested no visitors at the hospital outside of his immediate family so he can focus on resting and healing.

We are all so grateful he’s still with us, but he does have a long and hard recovery journey ahead of himself. We will update here as things evolve.
