My name is Ricardo Garcia . I am 50 years old and a father to six children and 5 grandchildren. My family are my fight and what keeps me going during this dark time in life.

Anybody who knows me, knows that I am a very private person . I have always been independent and I am used to doing everything on my own for me and my family. So, it makes it hard for me to put my business out there today and to finally ask for help.

In September of this year I noticed swelling on my right lymph nodes, I visited my doctor and was referred to an oncologist for a biopsy/ bone marrow.

On October 2 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma Even if it can't be cured, it can generally be controlled for many years.

Since my diagnosis I have not been able to return to work due to biopsies, appointments, and chemotherapy treatments.

Cancer not only takes a toll on one's health but also on their finances and emotional well-being. The medical bills, treatments, and all the associated costs are quickly going to add up.

I am embarking on a challenging journey filled with uncertainty and difficult decisions.
