Help Me Restore My Sight After 9 Years of Blindness
My name is Richard, and I’m reaching out with something that’s both difficult and humbling to ask for. I have Glaucoma, and the damage from this disease has left me almost completely blind for the past nine years. Every day has been a challenge, but I’ve never stopped hoping for a chance to regain even a portion of my vision.
That chance is finally here.
I have been fully evaluated, qualified, and approved for a specialized stem cell eye surgery that could restore my sight. This procedure represents the first real hope I’ve had in nearly a decade. Unfortunately, Medicaid does not cover this type of surgery, even though it is medically necessary for my condition.
The total cost I must pay out of pocket is $23,000.
I’m doing everything I can, but I cannot reach this amount alone. That’s why I’m turning to my community, friends, and anyone who believes in giving someone a second chance at life.
If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, you will be helping me take a step toward something I’ve dreamed about for years—seeing again. If you can’t donate, simply sharing this page means more than you know.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for supporting me in any way you can. Your kindness could truly change my life.
With gratitude,
Richard
