Richard Carl, my brother, has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma and is now confined to a hospital bed. This has been an incredibly difficult time for our family, and we are doing everything we can to support him. Richard has always been a source of strength and kindness to those around him, and now he needs our help more than ever.

Richard dedicated many years of his life to serving others as a police officer and deputy sheriff in West Palm Beach, Florida. He also worked as a paramedic and fireman, spending his career as a first responder and helping countless people in their times of need. Now, as he faces his own battle, we hope the community he served can rally around him.

His wife, Nancy, is working full time while also working hard to take care of Richard at home. The funds raised will go directly toward covering Richard’s mounting medical bills, providing a nurse to help care for him at home, and supporting the costs of his radiation treatments. These expenses are overwhelming, but every contribution will help ease the burden and allow Richard and Nancy to focus on his fight against this disease.
