Renly was more than your average cat—he was Richard’s beloved companion, a cherished friend, and a true member of the family. With his big personality, expressive sounds, and unforgettable thumbs, Renly brought joy and laughter to everyone who knew him.

On May 8th, 2025, Renly suddenly began acting strangely. He was rushed to the vet, where it was discovered that he had an enlarged heart and was experiencing heart failure. Despite the best efforts of the veterinary team and several urgent tests, it became clear that the most compassionate choice was to provide end-of-life care and Renly would need to be put to sleep.

This fundraiser has been created to help Richard cover the unexpected veterinary expenses for Renly’s emergency treatment and euthanasia. Renly made a lasting impact on all who met him and will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
