Support Richard Rennick's Battle with Cancer

Friends and Family,

In late May of this year, my dad, Richard Rennick, was diagnosed with stage IV peritoneal carcinomatosis with an unknown primary after being admitted to the hospital for a blockage. My dad is so fortunate to have to so many people sending him their love and support. We will be using this site to keep everyone updated on my dad’s health and share prayer requests.

My dad is one of the most servant-hearted people I know. He never puts himself first or takes more than 5 minutes to rest or relax. Serving and loving others is what brings him joy and if you know him, chances are you’ve seen that for yourself. Maybe he woke up early to set up a spot for you on the beach during the busy season, spent all day smoking ribs for you while you’ve enjoyed your time on the beach, sent you home with a bundle of fresh produce from his garden, or given your car a full-service wash after spending the weekend at his house, or countless other acts of generosity while in Lumberton, Houston, Dallas, or Crystal Beach. It is now our time as a family to give back to the man who has given us everything.

Rick is loved by many and has been overwhelmed by the amount of people who have shown support during this difficult time. As a family, we are deciding to be hopeful instead of hopeless, choosing to be warriors instead of worriers and leaning into faith over fear. Please join us in praying for full healing, joy amidst suffering, and for God to be glorified though my dad’s journey.

We are taking this disease head on and searching for healing from every angle - using traditional and integrative treatments.
