Thank you, everyone, for taking the time to read over this fundraiser. My father-in-law, Richard Poinatale, had a stroke in the right frontal lobe of his brain on Monday.

He is currently paralyzed on the left side of his body. His speech is slurred, but if he speaks slowly and loudly, you can understand what he is saying.

The hospital sent him to an acute rehab center, and they told him he will probably be there for six months.

As most of you know, Rich was out all summer recovering from a hip replacement. He went back to work on October 1st, and a week and a half later, they decided to eliminate his position. Since he is unable to work, he cannot collect unemployment, and the social security disability insurance will take a long time to process and for them to see funds. They are doing everything they can, but the medical bills keep piling up. Anything you can donate towards them really helps but if you are unable to give sharing this fundraiser would mean a lot to us.
