In Loving Memory of Richard Nelson
It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Richard Nelson, who left us on February 20th, 2025, in Washington, DC. Born on November 26th, 1984, in Miami, FL, Richard was a charismatic, loving son, brother, uncle, and a dear friend to many. He touched the lives of all who knew him with his infectious spirit, unwavering determination, and commitment to making a difference in the world.
Richard’s dedication to service and his passion for politics shaped his remarkable career. A proud graduate of Louisburg College, where he earned an Associate in Arts, Richard furthered his education at the historically Black college, Howard University, where he earned a Bachelor in Arts. His determination and ambition led him to work in the United States Senate, where he contributed to public service in the office of Senator Marco Rubio. Richard’s work in politics not only impacted his colleagues but also opened doors for future generations aspiring to follow in his footsteps.
Richard’s untimely passing leaves a deep void, and we now come together to honor his memory and support his family during this incredibly difficult time. Your generous donations will help cover funeral expenses, support his family, and keep Richard’s legacy of service alive.
We are grateful for any contribution you can make, and we thank you for keeping Richard’s family in your thoughts and prayers. May his spirit continue to inspire us all.
Rest in peace, Richard. You will forever be loved and missed.
