Support Richard and Margie's Health and Home

Hello, my name is Sequoia Weller. I am the daughter-in-law of Richard and Margie Wentworth My fiance is Joshua Wentworth son of Richard Wentworth. I am organizing this for them. Because it's something they would never do for themselves, but it's very much needed. You may or may not know them. Richard has lived in Osteen for more than 20 years and raised 3 children with Margie beside him.

Over the last 5 years, their health has continued to affect their daily lives and ability to maintain the mobile home they live in. Most recently, Margie was hospitalized for an infection from the poor living conditions such as holes in the floor and walls, no clean running water, water damage from leaking and a burst pipe. This house has become nearly unlivable for them. Margie suffers from John Hopkins lymphoma, diabetes, congestive heart failure and a host of other medical issues preventing her from working.

Richard has severe arthritis in his legs and knees he may need surgery for and has ongoing pain management therapy. He unfortunately has no choice but to continue working with retirement out of reach due to the cost of medical bills and chemo for Margie. They are loving parents and grandparents that adore their family and miss having a place for us all to come together.

I wish I could give them the home of their dreams to live out the rest of their lives to the fullest. I absolutely adore them and I'm asking for them to receive the help they need. I have never done something like this before but we are at a loss as to how to help. All of their children combined have done what we all can to help but with the cost of living these days, we can't help as much as we would all like to.

I am including some photos of the house that don't even do justice to the damage caused over the years, including a tree falling on the house in the last hurricane. Please leave your judgments at home and try to give them some grace for their struggles. Anything helps. The short term goal is to get them out of there as soon as possible and in a safer environment. The long term goal is a new home.
