My name is Kara Frick (Klobuchir) and I am a family friend of the Lang’s (they are stuck with me so we are basically family—let’s be honest).

Recently, Rich Lang has been diagnosed with Oropharyngeal Cancer (Throat Cancer). He has several masses between his tongue, neck, and lymph nodes.

He has been spending almost every day for the last 3 weeks at some sort of doctor’s appointment, testing, etc.

His daughter, Lynsie, and I have been friends for more than 25 years and she is the sister I never had. The entire Lang family has always helped those in need and I am hoping we can now do the same for them.

The plan is for him to start treatment within the next few weeks and as of right now, the tentative plan is that he will be receiving both Radiation 5 days a week and Chemo 1 day a week for 6 weeks.
