With a saddened heart, I must begin to plan the final arrangements for my Father, Riccardo Brown, Sr. Despite his previous health issues, he was still brave enough to face cancer and attempt to fight it. Following his first official radiation treatment for liver cancer, he suffered a massive stroke during recovery. Due to the severity of the damage to his brain and his continued declining health he passed peacefully with his wife and daughter at his bedside. While there is a very small insurance policy, it is not nearly enough to cover the cost of his final send-off nor to support my mom, who will not only feel his loss emotionally and physically but also financially. It is my hope to cover the cost of his service and burial and also be able to assist my mom with her household bills while she adjusts to a new life without my dad.
