Posting this information on behalf of my dear and trusted friend Teresah who shares, "my father-in-law, Ricardo Norambuena Zuñiga, 61 years old, is hospitalized with a pancreatic tumor. Almost a month ago, he was hospitalized with acute pancreatitis, which has required urgent care and multiple exams. The first hospitalization, without surgery, resulted in expenses of CLP $7,000,000 and then, during his second hospitalization, a pancreatic tumor was discovered.

On Monday, April 20, he will undergo a complex operation of at least 5 hours to remove part of the pancreas containing the tumor. The scheduled surgery is highly complex; the recovery and subsequent treatments may involve additional expenses that we cannot afford.
