Hello, my family and I are humbly requesting any sort of donation to assist my brother, Ricardo Rios, during this medical emergency. Ricardo is 23 years old, recently graduated from UTSA, and a shining light to all of his friends and family.

On November 16th, Ricky was involved in a terrible car accident that has left him in critical condition. He is currently on life support and is fighting to gain back feeling in his arms and legs due to a spine injury from the collision.

The medical staff is working around the clock to tend to his needs and make sure he is comfortable. He is currently immobilized in bed and on a breathing tube. He is showing potential signs of recovery in the upcoming weeks, but we are expecting a long road ahead of us.

We are asking for donations to help supplement his rent payments and monthly bills in the time that he will not be able to work. The donations will also assist my parents who will need to travel back and forth between the RGV and San Antonio to be with him at the hospital during the upcoming weeks. We are also preparing for the many medications and therapy sessions that will come as a part of his rehabilitation.
