Rica Sotomayor is a beloved member of the Achieve community and has been a dedicated kindergarten teacher with us for the past two years. Recently, Rica experienced the devastating loss of her husband. During this incredibly difficult time, she needs to travel immediately to the Philippines to be with her family and attend funeral services. In addition to the urgent travel, Rica will need to take a leave of absence from work as she grieves and begins to navigate life after this profound loss.

We are coming together to raise funds to help cover Rica’s urgent international travel expenses, funeral-related costs, and living expenses while she takes time away from work to heal.
