Hi, my name is Rian, I’m a husband, father, and the main provider for my family. Recently, while spending a fun day with my daughter at a trampoline park, I suffered a serious knee injury — I tore my patella in my knee

Since then, it’s been extremely difficult to provide for my family and keep up with expenses. I’ve been told that the surgery I need to repair my knee will cost between $8,000 and $11,400, and that doesn’t include the initial MRI diagnostic scan, which alone is around $2,000. Without this surgery, I can’t get back to work or return to being the active, supportive dad I strive to be every day. I have still continued against my worried-some wife’s wishes and still take care of the house and prep meals for my family as much as i can, sitting still and nothing doing with my daughter i feel so cooped up…

What hurts most is missing out on the simple joys — like taking my daughter Lailah skiing this winter, something we’d both been looking forward to for months. She’s such a bright, energetic, and curious little girl, and it breaks my heart not to be able to keep up with her right now.
