On May 21,2025, 6 year old Rhydian Beasley (Rhy) was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in his spleen and Hodgkin's Lymphoma after experiencing persistent throat and stomach pain for past year. He began his first rounds of 5 full cycles chemotherapy on May 23rd with the help of his dedicated medical team, antibiotics, and his incredible spirit, Rhy pulled thru his first treatments. But as time has gone on, due to fever, infections, and more severe complications than we imagined, he has been in and out of Ascension Sacred Heart Children's Oncology Center ever since he started. October 2025 will begin their journey to Jacksonville to stay for radiation treatments.

Rhy is being cared for and lives with his grandmother, Carol Carroll, who has raised him and is his full time caregiver. Despite the emotional and financial challenges that come with managing daily life and full-time medical care, Carol has remained strong and unwavering in her commitment to Rhy's health and happiness.

Even while fighting this tough battle, Rhy has continued to shine with joy and creativity. One of his favorite pastimes is folding paper airplanes and pretending he is a Blue Angels pilot. It is his dream to one day meet the pilots and one day become a pilot himself.
