Rhyan is my 18-year-old nephew, and he’s always been determined to build a future for himself. On Christmas Eve, our family’s world was turned upside down when Rhyan was involved in a serious rollover accident. He suffered a fracture in his c1 and c2 vertebrae, a broken clavicle, and a traumatic brain injury with a brain bleed. The days since have been filled with uncertainty, but also with hope as we watch him fight through each challenge.

Before the accident, Rhyan was working hard to pursue a career in welding. Now, he faces a long road to recovery and will likely be unable to work for 4-6 months. The medical expenses are significant, and the costs of rehabilitation and daily needs are adding up quickly. Our family is doing everything we can, but we know we can’t do it alone.
