We are raising money for our dear friend and coworker Rhonda Whitaker. Rhonda has spent the last 3 months in the hospital with CIDP—chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy. CIDP is closely related to Guillain-Barré Syndrome. Rhonda has spent all this time in a hospital bed. This past week was the first time she could sit on the edge of her bed, and she finally stood up!!! Rhonda has a long road to recovery. She is finally getting out of the hospital on 3/16!!!! Rhonda was fitted for a motorized wheelchair, but her out-of-pocket cost is still going to be $7,000-$10,000! Let’s help Rhonda get her motorized wheelchair!!! It would mean the world for Rhonda to get this wheelchair and gain back some independence while starting her recovery process at home.
