Rhonda Martin is a history teacher at Houston High School in Germantown, Tennessee. She’s been in the classroom for over 20 years and is in her second year at Houston. She and her husband Frank are raising their two kids, Maddie, 15 (a student at Houston) and Ben, 11 (a student at Riverdale).

In October 2025, she was diagnosed with inoperable stage 3 pancreatic cancer.

Rhonda has exhausted her available leave, and every day spent in treatment or recovery is now a day without pay. Her colleagues and family are raising funds to help support Rhonda and her family during this difficult time.
