Rhonda has always been a dedicated and compassionate presence in our community hospital, where she worked for 20 years. As a friend and former coworker, I’ve seen firsthand how much she cares for others and how hard she’s worked to provide for her family. Now, Rhonda is facing her second battle with esophageal cancer—a challenge no one should have to endure once, let alone twice.

As the primary provider for her family, being unable to work has put a tremendous strain on Rhonda’s household. She is currently waiting to see if she qualifies for disability, but even if she does, her income will be significantly reduced. Despite these hardships, Rhonda continues to fight with incredible strength and resilience.
