Our dear friends Rhonda and Loren Roth, longtime members of the South Lake Tahoe community, are facing an incredibly difficult time and they need our help. Rhonda has been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and is currently undergoing treatment in Davis, CA. Because of her condition, she is unable to work, and the road ahead will require strength, resilience, and ongoing medical care. At the same time, Loren is still recovering from a kidney transplant. Due to his health and the frequent travel back and forth to Davis for Rhonda’s treatments and doctor’s appointments, he is only able to work a couple of days a week. The financial strain is overwhelming. Travel expenses, gas, medical costs, and occasional hotel stays in Davis are quickly adding up, all while their household income has been significantly reduced. Rhonda and Loren have been part of our South Lake Tahoe community for many years. They are kind, hardworking people who have always been there for others and now it’s our turn to be there for them. Any donation, big or small, will make a meaningful difference in helping ease their burden so they can focus on what matters most, Rhonda’s health and their time together.
