Hi, I'm Rhianon and I am making this GoFundMe in hopes to help compensate some of the funds that we are having to use since my routine Endometriosis surgery this past Wednesday, August 13th.

I had a surgery that we thought went really well on Wednesday, except Thursday I was coughing up small amounts of blood. Friday, I was taken to the hospital that did my surgery, and my throat hurt so bad I couldn’t swallow my medicine. They did swabs and told me that it was just the rhinovirus and to go rest.

Well, Saturday it kept getting worse, so we decided a second opinion might be best. The second emergency room did a CT scan of my throat, which showed a 3cm abscess in my deep throat right on the carotid artery. I was immediately sent by LifeFlight ground down to Nashville, which is about an hour or so from our home.

Currently, my husband is having to care for the kids at home alone and isn’t able to stay at the hospital with me. He would like to make daily checks if possible or be able to bring me anything I need from home, but gas adds up fast, and we're hoping to be able to cover the co-pay that we get hit with after this multiple-day stay.

I'm on day 2 of the stay with Vanderbilt, and we don’t have a current end date in sight, sadly. Any help is greatly appreciated; this is definitely not something we thought we had to worry about with having an abdominal Endometriosis surgery. This has been very hard emotionally and physically on us all.
