In Loving Memory of Rhiana Kemplin and Seeking Justice
Our hearts are shattered. In the early morning hours of November 8th, my beloved daughter, Rhiana Kemplin, was tragically and senselessly taken from us. She was murdered at home in her bed while she slept, leaving an immense void in the lives of everyone who knew and loved her.
Rhi Rhi ( lil mama, nanaa ) was a beautiful soul inside and out. She was smart beyond years talented with music and makeup and had the biggest heart. The most loyal friend. She protected all those around her and was incredibly witty not to mention funny. Tiny as she was her spirit tripled that! At just 17, she had a whole lifetime ahead of her, filled with potential and dreams of graduating High School then cosmetology and also continue her education at ASU and playing in the band there. Her infectious laugh and kind spirit will be missed every single day.
The Immediate Need: Laying Rhiana to Rest
In the wake of this devastating loss, our family is grappling not only with unimaginable grief but also with the sudden, overwhelming financial burden of providing Rhiana with the respectful farewell she deserves.
The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward the following critical expenses:
• Funeral and Memorial Services: Covering the full cost of the funeral, burial/cremation, and memorial service so we can gather and mourn her loss with dignity.
• Travel and Accommodation: travel to attend the services.
• Immediate Financial Relief: Assisting with any unexpected expenses incurred during this time as we take time off work to grieve and manage necessary arrangements.
Seeking Justice and Healing
Beyond the immediate costs of the funeral, we also face ongoing challenges:
• Legal/Advocacy Support: Retaining legal counsel or private investigators to ensure every possible avenue is pursued in the ongoing investigation into her murder.
