Hello everyone, my name is Quindon and this is my German Shepard, Rhett. On 8/27/2025 I had to take Rhett to veterinary ER. They immediately told me that he would need an X-ray and possibly blood work done along with a catheter due to his bladder being enlarged. That procedure alone was $650 that myself and my girlfriend stressed to come up with on short notice like this. Later on in the day the vet called me to let me know what their findings were… Rhett has bladder stones that were obstructing his urinary track. They were able to flush them out of the way and his bladder. Unfortunately, they are still wanting him to have a Cystotomy to fully remove the stones along with neutering him due to his prostate being large as well. The vet Dr. told me the sooner the better and I unfortunately do not have that kind of money just lying around. Rhett is my best friend and the thought of him being in pain and/or losing him breaks my heart. Anything that could be donated would be appreciated and I’d be grateful for.
