Support Rhea's Road to Recovery

My name is Kaylee, and I am aiming to help raise money to help offset the cost of Rhea’s life saving surgery. She came to my partner Sammie’s doorstep 2 years ago, neglected and full of infection. She was roaming the streets for an unknown period of time after her previous owners decided to let her loose, because they no longer wanted her. Rhea is the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet, and even after being sentenced to abuse and backyard bred at a very young age she has never even shown a hint of aggression to any person. Sammie loves to spoil Rhea, and one of their favorite activities is going to intensive agility, obedience, and scent work training. On Friday 5/31 Rhea had to undergo surgery to remove what appeared to be a foreign body. After further examination we concluded that the object that was removed from Rhea most likely came from outside of the house, and we are unsure how long it had been in her stomach before it made its way to her intestine and then became an obstruction. In total with multiple emergency vet visits and with follow up care after surgery, we are desperate to repay the loans that funded us to keep our sweet girl alive and well. Rhea is recovering from her procedure at home, but the foreseeable future will require around the clock care to ensure that she does not have any complications throughout her recovery. We are far from the finish line, and every cent helps.
