Help Save Rhean — Her Life-Saving Kidney Transplant Is Finally Here
Hi, my name is Zahanie, and I’m sharing this on behalf of my incredible sister-in-law, Rhean, and her beautiful family.
Before 2020, Rhean was the healthiest person you could meet—active, energetic, always smiling, and filled with dreams. She had no medical history. Then, during the first wave of COVID-19, she contracted the virus, and everything changed in an instant. After multiple emergency hospital visits, she was diagnosed with end-stage renal failure—a shock we are still trying to accept to this day.
For over four years, she fought with everything she had. She followed every treatment plan, took her medications faithfully, monitored her diet carefully, and kept all labs and medical follow-ups up-to-date. She did everything right.
And still—her kidneys continued to fail.
Early last year, she began hemodialysis three times a week, a draining routine that left her exhausted but still full of hope. Because through every painful treatment, one truth remained:
She didn’t just want to survive. She wanted to live.
Hoping for a faster transplant schedule, Rhean and her husband decided to return home to the Philippines while remaining on the transplant list. But instead of relief, they were met with almost 5
months of surgery delays, hospital setbacks, and mounting medical expenses that quickly overwhelmed their savings, their hearts, and their home.
But God finally opened a door.
Tomorrow—December 1, 2025 at 3:00 PM (Philippine time)—
Rhean will receive her long-awaited, life-saving kidney transplant at the Philippine National Kidney and Transplant Institute.
We are endlessly grateful—but the journey is far from over. The cost of the procedure, recovery medications, temporary housing, transport, and ongoing care has placed an overwhelming financial burden on her family—one they can no longer carry alone.
So we are humbly asking for your support.
If you are able, please consider donating any amount at all.
If you can’t, please share her story. Someone out there might be waiting for the opportunity to help.
Because:
Every share is a prayer. Every prayer is strength. Every dollar is more days for Rhean.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting and standing with Rhean during the hardest battle of her life. Your kindness, prayers, and generosity mean more than words can ever express. Your support truly makes a life-changing difference—not just for her, but for the entire family walking beside her.
Update: Dear Family and friends. Thank you so much for all your incredible support and prayers this week. Rhean's surgery went will wonderfully. She is doing great but still under observation and being carefully monitored . Please keep her in your thoughts for continued strength and healing. We'll share updates as we can. God bless.
With love and endless gratitude,
Thank you.
