Rey is a 7-year-old Shiba Inu, Husky, Bernese mix, who lives with her mom, dad, and 3 furry siblings in Ellwood City, PA. She loves to boss around her younger brother, chomp on grass, cuddle with her mom, and protect her home from scary noises.

On Thursday, October 31st, Rey was noticeably lethargic, weak, and uninterested in water, food, and even cheese. After an emergency visit to Creekside Veterinary Clinic, it was determined that Rey was suffering from anemia as evident from a fever, enlarged spleen and liver, and severely decreased red blood cell count. At the vet's recommendation, she was taken to BluePearl Pet Hospital in Pittsburgh. There she is currently undergoing further testing and one or more blood transfusions in an effort to save her life.
