Hi, my name is Lori, and for those of you that don't know, my husband, Rey, was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in June of 2025. He has been doing chemo once a week for the past 6 months. As with any insurance, we pay the co-pay, and they cover you. That coverage is getting less as the months go on. Hopefully, this month he will be going to UCSF to get a bone marrow transplant. He will be in the hospital for at least 4 weeks. That is if all goes well; his oncologist said that his stay can be up to two months, possibly even more.
In the meantime, his disability is on pause. Meaning, his doctor didn't fill out his paperwork correctly, again. Of course, with the holidays, we can't get anything done.
We need help with our rent, bills, etc. We don't know when his money will be coming in again. But in the meantime, we are S.O.L.
Any help you can give will be much appreciated! If you can't donate, please share the link.
