Hello,

This is Rey’s mom, Irma. Rey was finally discharged after 2 weeks in Community Regional Medical Center. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer; sadly, the cancer has spread to his liver and lungs. He started chemotherapy on Wednesday and will continue chemo every two weeks for the next three months. He is hoping his body accepts the chemo or at least reduces the cancer and a possible surgery can remove the rest. They will do an MRI test and CT scan once chemo is complete to see where the cancer stands. We are trying to keep a positive attitude and be supportive of his 5 kids. During this difficult time, we are asking for donations to help with expenses and bills as Rey is not able to work. Please continue to keep my son in your prayers.
