Support Rev. Gloribel's Recovery
Donation protected
Dear Family and Friends,
This is Gloribel's granddaughter, Caitlin. I’m reaching out to ask for your prayers and support during an incredibly difficult time for Rev. Gloribel. My abuelita has been in the hospital for over a month, battling a rare and serious nerve disorder called Miller-Fisher Syndrome, which has left her paralyzed in her limbs and face. This condition developed from multiple surgeries that were necessary to repair the broken arm she suffered back in December.
Although she is now in stable condition and has thankfully regained full consciousness (praise God!), she still hasn’t regained full feeling in her legs, and the road to recovery ahead is long and difficult. This journey has been deeply painful, not just for her, but for those who love and care for her, including friends who have stepped away from their jobs to be by her side, her church communities, and especially her adult son with special needs, Richard.
Between multiple surgeries, long stays in the ICU, and the months of rehabilitation that lie ahead, she is in need of financial help to cover her expenses (this includes her hospital bed, wheelchair, and the fees for the nurse who assists her).
My abuelita has dedicated her entire life to serving the Lord and others in El Salvador. From early mornings to late nights, she has worked tirelessly to provide food, medicine, clothing, counseling, and comfort to families in need. She has been a voice for the vulnerable, a caretaker for special needs children and adults, and a true example of God’s selfless love. Now, for the first time, she needs others to care for her.
If you’re able to give anything at all, it would mean the world to her. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go toward easing the heavy financial burden on her and her household.
Thank you for reading, for praying, and for standing with us during this time.
With love and gratitude,
Caitlin
