This fundraiser is being created by the family of Andy Divodi-Lessa whose life was changed forever on August 21st 2025. Andy's son, 7 year old Josiah, and ex-wife were murdered in their home in Shingle Springs, CA. Andy's daughter survived the traumatic scene by the grace of God but has been unable to be reunited with her father, who is the legal next of kin. The aftermath of this devastation is both heartbreaking and expensive. Due to the tumultuous relationship with now deceased mother, Andy was required to pay for his own viewing of his son and no funds raised by the family were contributed to his service. Additionally, the family has prevented Andy from seeing his daughter which has been extremely painful on top of already losing his son.

In order for Andy and his daughter to be reunited after 6 years of separation, the court has ordered therapy for both parties. Not only is therapy necessary, it is critical for Andy to receive for his own healing. At the time of the murder he was a full-time student at Solano County College as an EMT and firefighter and does not have the funds to be able to pay for this expensive but necessary therapy and court fees.

We love Serafina and want her to be able to see her father and for Andy to have a relationship with his one surviving child after being prevented from being the present father that he so deeply wishes to be. We need to fulfill the court order to make this dream come true. Your help would mean the world to Andy and our family.
